Shannon Caldwell, E-RYT 500 & Yogipreneur
Shannon has been involved in yoga for 13 years as a student, a teacher and a yogipreneur. In 2001 she opened Esprit Yoga studio in the McKinney/Frisco/Allen area and two years later founded Purple Lotus Yoga, a nationally recognized teacher training program. She has grown her business by offering workshops, intensives and advanced training and coaching for fellow emerging yogi-preneurs. Her most recent ventures include Brick House Yoga studio and expanding Purple Lotus Yoga to multiple locations throughout Texas.
Shannon's success and reputation can be attributed to her ability to both lovingly nurture and gently push students in a safe, non-competitive environment. She uses modern application of the ancient principles of yoga to guide participants through personal transformations. She continues to deepen her own awareness and overcome obstacles in order to provide real world examples to her students. Her motto is to always move forward through "imperfect action."
Shannon enjoys all forms of yoga--even the ones that have nothing to do with her mat. From her embarrassingly awkward moments in her first downward dog to the launch of multiple yoga ventures, she has spent more than a decade immersed in the world of yoga, education thousands of individuals about the benefits of yoga. She continues to share her love of yoga through training and coaching, motivating participants to follow their hearts and use yoga as their internal guide.
